GDPR
Privacy Policy
How your personal data is collected, used and protected when you visit this site or use the contact form.
1. Data controller
The controller responsible for the processing of personal data collected on this site is Jacques Tsiorimalala, sole proprietor (NIF 501 151 590 50, STAT 70209 11 2023 0 05488), residing at Près VR 54 Bis Mahazoarivo, Antananarivo 101, Madagascar, reachable at jacques@idigital-revolution.com.
No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed, as the activity does not exceed the thresholds that would make such an appointment mandatory. Any question regarding your data may be addressed directly to the address above.
2. Data collected and purposes
Two sources of personal data exist on this site:
The contact form
When you use the contact form, the following data is collected: name, email address, selected type of project and message content. This data is sent by email to the controller's professional address, for the sole purpose of responding to your request. It is not stored in a searchable database and is not used for any other purpose (no commercial prospecting without separate consent).
Audience measurement (Google Analytics)
This site uses Google Analytics to measure traffic and understand how pages are used. This tool sets audience-measurement cookies only after your explicit consent, given via the banner displayed on your first visit (see section 5, "Cookies"). The data collected is pseudonymized and does not allow you to be identified directly.
3. Legal basis for processing
- Contact form: performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request, or legitimate interest in responding to a commercial inquiry.
- Audience-measurement cookies: explicit consent, obtained before any non-essential cookie is set, in accordance with the ePrivacy Directive and CNIL recommendations.
4. Data recipients
Contact form data is intended solely for the controller. Audience measurement data is transmitted to Google LLC (Google Analytics) as a technical processor, in accordance with the purposes described in its own privacy policy.
5. Data transfers outside the European Union
The controller for this site is domiciled in Madagascar, a country that is not subject to an adequacy decision by the European Commission. If you are located in the European Union, the data you submit via the contact form is therefore subject to a transfer outside the EU. This processing is nevertheless carried out in compliance with GDPR principles (data minimization, limited purpose, controlled retention period, security of exchanges), and you retain the same rights as those detailed in section 7, regardless of your place of residence.
Data transmitted to Google Analytics is subject to transfers governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, as part of the framework put in place by Google for its European services.
6. Retention period
- Emails from the contact form: kept in the professional mailbox for as long as necessary to process your request, then archived or deleted depending on follow-up needs, not exceeding 3 years from the last relevant contact.
- Google Analytics audience-measurement data: kept for a maximum of 14 months, in accordance with the retention settings applied to this account.
7. Cookies
A consent banner is displayed on your first visit and allows you to accept or refuse non-essential cookies (audience measurement). Until you give your consent, no Google Analytics cookie is set.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Subject to consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Audience measurement (Google Analytics) | 13 months | Yes |
| portfolio_cookie_consent | Remembers your choice (accepted/refused) | 6 months | No — strictly necessary |
You can change your choice at any time via the "Manage cookies" link in the footer, or by deleting cookies from your browser.
8. Security
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS (TLS encryption). Exchanges via the contact form travel over an encrypted connection between your browser and the server.
9. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data:
- Right of access to your data
- Right to rectification
- Right to erasure
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to object
- Right to data portability
To exercise any of these rights, write to jacques@idigital-revolution.com specifying your request. A response will be provided within a maximum of one month.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), the French supervisory authority, at www.cnil.fr.
