Who I am
Who am I?
A freelance SEO developer, web technology has fascinated me for as long as I can remember — even before finishing my computer science degree, I already knew I'd make it my career for the long run. I don't like standing still: I've built my current skill set through continuous learning, which today lets me address a wide range of needs rather than limiting myself to one facet of the web. That same drive still shapes how I work — I adapt to changes in technology rather than let them catch me off guard.
My skills as an SEO consultant
SEO means 8 years of experience across nearly every facet of the craft. I can now spot and fix a website's technical failures quickly — a technical audit is second nature to me. Content strategy, on the other hand, is something I keep refining on every project rather than a fixed recipe applied as-is.
My skills as a web developer
Web development is one of the crafts I've been most passionate about since I started in this field. I progressed technology by technology: first the structuring languages (HTML, CSS), then programming languages (PHP, JavaScript), before specializing in WordPress on the CMS side — the one I know best and recommend today. JS frameworks then won me over with their power and how lightweight the applications they enable are: I favor React and Node.js for my projects, unless a client prefers otherwise.

My journey
Fresh out of a computer science degree, I take my first steps in the web as a copywriter for a local company. That year I produce more than 10,000 pieces of content across a wide range of topics — software, mobile apps, even pharmaceutical product sheets. That's where I learn the fundamentals of content that actually answers a search query.
After 4 years as a copywriter, with the basics of SEO already under my belt, I join a Quebec-based web agency as a project manager, in charge of content for every site handled by the agency. I'm also entrusted with occasional SEO missions — audits, content analysis, technical issue detection — and I learn how to optimize a site end to end, directly in the field.
After a year managing content production and SEO, I move into hands-on practice: my first builds are on WordPress. I learn page builders and plugins, then go further — custom themes, direct PHP fixes, new features. Along the way, I already apply my SEO instincts to every page I build.
With my CMS skills solidly in place, I turn to more recent technology: JS frameworks. I learn React and Node.js, first alongside more experienced developers, then independently across front-end and back-end — enough to deploy fully custom platforms.
Twelve years after I started, I'm putting everything I've learned to work: I'm currently building several platforms dedicated to technical optimization and search engine visibility. It's a project close to my heart — I'll be sharing its progress on LinkedIn.
